Fixes indexes on the SETI network packet. ????

Was in aller Welt ist SETI?? Nie gehört, oder gesehen.
Die Uni Berkeley hat ein Projekt laufen, in dem sie mit vernetzten PCs nach außerirdischer Intelligenz sucht... Hat das damit zu tun? Google ist ziemlich unergiebig.
Also, was sind die Fixed indexes on the SETI network packet? Was macht SETI. Weiß das jemand?

Wenn ich Heinz Flichtbeil in einem anderen Forum richtig verstanden habe, dann hängt es wohl wirklich mit diesem Seti@home zusammen. Ist schon erstaunlich, was die X-Plane Entwickler alles so beachten.
Naja, für mich uninteressant. Obwohl die Suche nach Außerirdischem irgendwann wohl mit mehr Erfolg gekrönt sein dürfte, als die Suche nach Yetis. Einpaar Kumpels von mir hatten das Seti@home auch mal ne ganze Weile laufen. Ist aber schon länger her.
Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher. Aber ich glaube Hermann, dass du mit Yeti gar nicht so weit entfernt bist von Seti. Das ist ja auch ne Suche nach Unbekannten.

Dann hoffen wir mal, dass der SETI-YETI mitsamt Uni Berkeley nicht die ganze Zeit unbemerkt auf unserem Rechner werkelt, während wir in X-Plane fliegen und vielleicht sogar noch danach..., vielleicht bertrachten die Europa ja schon als "außerirdisch".

Da gibt es ja auch noch ein paar andere (NSA, GCHQ), die genau beobachten, wo man überall rumfliegt. Also passt auf, wenn ihr in den Nahen Osten oder in den Hindukusch fliegt, da habt ihr schon deren erhöhte Aufmerksamkeit.

Wir kriegen wohl bald als Überraschung die Version 10.30 serviert. (bzw. die ersten Betas o.ä. dazu)
Bin schon echt drauf gespannt.

X-Plane 10.25 Beta 1

X-Plane 10.25 Beta 1 updates a number of the art assets in X-Plane, and also ships a few bug fixes.

New Stuff:

This update contains 3-d buildings for over 250 airports, contributed by the X-Plane community. This is our first update to ship community-built airports using the X-Plane 10 airport building library. We will continue to ship updates to these airports as more contributions come in.
A large number of natural terrains are updated.
New urban base terrain for wet climates. We are working on dry climates and may have them for a future beta, but for the wet climates this should make a nice improvement in views of cities from the air.
Airport library and art decals have texture updates.
The default libraries have paths marked as deprecated or private where appropriate; when using WED 1.2.1 beta 1, old and private library paths are hidden, simplifying the library.

Bug fixes:

Fixed network data output to ForeFlight.
Fixed scroll wheel operation on Windows.
Fixed ACF panel import in Plane-Maker.

Datarefs:

New datarefs to control the aircraft carrier and frigate with an override.
Cinema verite can be set by dataref.
Read-only access to whether HDR is on.
