Hallo,
hat jemand Erfahrung mit dem X- Organizer?
Ich hatte das Teil mal auf der Platte, habe es dann wieder entfernt,
da meine Sortierung der packs.ini nach der Installation nicht mehr gestimmt hat.
Oder ist dann die Reihenfolge egal.......?

What about sets?
A set only stores enabled/disabled states of the scenerypacks. Sets can be used to quickly enable/disable a lot of scenerypacks. For instance: a USA and a Europe set to quickly enable only those scenerypacks that you need for that area.
The tool will always start with the enabled/disabled states found in the scenery_packs.ini (and is presented as the first set). If you selected a set and saved the scenery_packs.ini the previous time these states are of course still the same as your set BUT the tool does not check this! If you changed stuff or you want to be sure -> simply select the set again….
So: if you did not save the scenerypacks.ini (Autosave OFF) the enabled/disabled states are NOT still the same as your set! They are back to the states found in the scenery_packs.ini…
WARNING
The tool makes a backup of the scenery_packs.ini (with a .bak extension) if a new one is created. If something is wrong -> don’t start the tool again but restore the old one first!
You should always make a backup of your scenery_packs.ini before you start using xOrganizer and store is somewhere save!

Danke Hermann,
ich habe immer eine Sicherung der packs.ini
Jetzt bin ich aber auch noch nicht schlauer, was ich genau machen soll.

Nein ist es nicht!

1. Airports
2. Regionale Szenerien (zum Beispiel New Zealand von Alpilotx), oder Flugplatzsammlungen...
3. OSM Daten (z.B. World2XPlane)
4. Bibliotheken (Libraries), andere addons. Wobei der Ort der Libraries in der scenery_packs.ini nicht relevant ist.
5. Fotoszenerien
6. Mesh Daten (z.B. HD Scenery Mesh v3 von alpilotx)...

Hallo Hermann,
ja das ist mir alles klar...
Aber wie mache ich das im Organizer?
Und was muss ich genau tun, wenn was Neues dazu kommt?

1. Szenerie in den Custom kopieren
2. xOrganizer über den Button "start x-plane 64bit" starten
3. xOrganizer schreibt nun eine neue "scenery_packs.ini"

Bei den Autogen, Mesh usw. arbeite ich mit dem Buchstaben " z *. Die Anzal " z * bestimmt dann die Reihenfolge!
Damit muss ich die "scenery_packs.ini" nicht mit einem Editor bearbeiten.

xOrganizer benutze ich nur um schnell einen Fehler zu suchen z.B. um eine Plugin zu deaktivieren / aktivieren.
Ansonsten pflege ich den Custom Ordner händisch. Dazu benutze ich den Ordner "Custom Scenery (disabled)".
Alle Szenerien in diesem Ordner werden nicht geladen.

Ich weiss zwar nicht genau was du wissen möchtest. Ich finde das Tool selbsterklärend.
Mit einer Kopie der "scenery_packs.ini" bist du ja auf der richtigen Seite!

Ich meine nur, dass ich nach der Installation des Programmes festgestellt habe,
dass die _packs.ini nicht mehr gepasst hat.
Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, kann ich dann einfach meine gesicherten Werte der .ini neu in die .ini reinkopieren und gut ist - oder?
Und wenn ich was Neues Installiere, mache ich dann wie vorher gewohnt in meiner .ini weiter - oder?
