Hallo Flightsimmer

villeicht kennt ihr das Programm Sim Avio?
Ich sage euch, Finger weg* davon!!!!!!
Vor einem Jahr habe ich die Software gekauft, nun habe ich einen neuen Computer aufgesetzt.
Weil die Software mehr als Jährig ist, bekomme ich keinen Key mehr, und die Aktivierung ist nicht mehr möglich.
Das ist eine grosse Schweinerei.
Ich habe das Geld in die Luft gesetzt.
Die Korrespondenz mit der Firma könnt ihr unten lesen.

If that’s your answer, so I won’t ever buy a software from you. I will also tell this in the forums.

We do not support the old unlock license generator any more.* You will need to upgrade the software, and then I can provide you with a new unlock code.* Even though it has passed one year, I can give you a one-time upgrade anyway.

Do not forget to upgrade your FTS Interface plugin also.* For Windows PC users, you will find the new installer in the SimAVIO root directory after upgrading SimAVIO.* The file name is X-Plane_v9_Interface_setup.exe.* *If you are running X-Plane with Mac OS and using the Mac OS plugin, then you must create a new copy of udpdata.txt located in SimAVIO/Library on your Windows PC, and paste it into the X-Plane/resources/plugin folder on your Mac.* * Do not disturb (modify or delete)* your original copy of udpdata.txt in the Library folder.* * Copy and paste udpdata.txt only after you have upgraded SimAVIO.

It looks like you have an old copy of SimAVIO.* What version of SimAVIO are you running?* What was your purchase date?* *What product did you purchase?* *AvSimMap was discontinued and merged with other products:

We do not have the unlock codec for the old versions of SimAVIO. If you purchased more than 1 year ago, you will have to purchase another license.

The old software has security flaws.* We had to change the way the software was licensed.* This was our problem, which is why we are giving customers a FREE upgrade even though one year has passed.* *The new software has some very nice feature enhancements.* In addition to the AvSimMap II, I am also including the Garmin GNS430 (2) , the STEC55X, the GTX327 and the GMA340 audio panel.* The total value of this software is $147 US , which is more than what you paid for your software to begin with.*

Naja-Renato,
soweit ich das verstehe, bietet dir der gute Mann ein kostenloses Upgrade an - du must ein Update vornehmen. Er verweist lediglich in deinem untersten Beitrag auf den Wert der Software, wenn du die nun kaufen würdest.
Im Übrigen würde ich mal in meine "Vertragsunterlagen" der Software schauen, was da drin steht betreffend Support und Updates usw.- leider schreibst du nicht, ob du mit dem Programm als solchem zufrieden oder nicht.

und was lehrt uns das?

Ich, für meine Person, lasse seit einiger Zeit grundsätzlich die Finger von Produkten weg, die mit solchen Kinkerlitzchen daherkommen - als da sind: timelimited keys, unlock codes for only one PC, Aktivierungstricks, Onlineproduktaktivierung usw. usw. und neuerdings auch "Schnüffler", genannt "launcher", die wissen wollen, wie mein PC beschaffen ist. ---->Geht die gar nichts an!

Stellt sich die Frage, ob man so ein Produkt auch tatsächlich braucht? Letztendlich muss das aber jeder für sich entscheiden.

Mein Eindruck ist, dass sich diese Anbieter schon mal zum ausschaufeln ihrer eigenen Grube begeben haben.
